The Fold
Your retreat accommodation, The Fold, is a purpose-built modern open-plan studio lodge, set in its own gravelled courtyard, overlooking the orchard and meadow with long views to the Black Mountains, Hay Bluff, and famous Golden Valley.
Equipped with all the homely comforts, our guests find it easy to relax, often inspired to write, paint or sketch. Therefore, a small selection of creative art and reflective resources and books are provided.
The living area has: a fully kitted kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, etc; comfortable sofa (with a view!), a dining table and chairs; cosy double bed with all natural luxury bedding; a shower room just off the main living area.
Outdoors there is: plenty of seating and subtle lighting; a fire pit and BBQ with wood and charcoal for outdoor cooking; cushions and cosy blankets to enjoy a relaxed retreat whether winter or summer, under open skies and a canopy of stars.
Our guests find every detail added to facilitate warm, comfortable, simplified stays away from it all.
Though completely private, The Fold is conveniently located just a short (lit) walk from the main farmhouse and garden areas. The only other visitors you may see are, red kites, occasional muntjac or fallow deer, hedgehogs, skylarks, kestrels, pheasants, partridge and linnets, etc!
Charges: £85 per night for 1or2 people sharing (minimum booking x3 nights)
